About Meg Nieslanik
Two years ago, New York City wasn’t even on the radar of one small-town cowgirl and farmer’s daughter, Meg Nieslanik. But now, a year and half after the move east, this 24-year-old Colorado kid has never felt more at home walking to work through Washington Square Park, lox bagel in hand. When Meg isn’t busy meticulously following her beloved alma mater’s basketball team (#RollZags), she enjoys blogging about things that happen to her, traipsing around New York with friends in search of the perfect chocolate chip cookie, running on the Hudson River, and day-dreaming about Jim Halpert. Meg works as an Academic Advisor for student-athletes at NYU and in four months will be the proud owner of a graduate degree. It’s between now and May that she hopes to find a way to combine her passions for writing and empowering women into a career that makes good, because GIRLS ROCK! and words move mountains.
