Hello beautiful ladies!

marisa0613Every year we take a day out of the year to sit back and think all of the things we should be thankful for. This day usually consists of copious amounts of food, spending time with loved ones and going around the table saying what everyone is thankful for.  And to be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of this. Sure, it’s nice to take a day to be grateful and appreciate all that we have, but there are 365 days in a year. What about the other 364 days?

Sometimes life isn’t the greatest. Life will knock you down and kick you while you’re vulnerable. Sometimes the only words we can speak are the tears that fall from our eyes. To put it simply, sometimes life just sucks. However, there is so much more to this life than the pain we feel. What happens to us is not who we are. Once we come to realize this, we come to realize that life really is so beautiful. It may be messy, but it is a beautiful mess. When this is seen, you will see that there really is so much in this world to be thankful for.

Life has some pretty amazing things to offer us: laughter, great conversations, beautiful sunsets, relationships, the beach, mountains, animals, dancing. Sometimes life offers us the greatest lessons we could possibly learn which cause us to grow and become better people. And in this life, we meet the most amazing people with genuine hearts who love us more than we can imagine. When you look at the good that this life has to offer, you look at every single thing that you have to be thankful for.

Thanksgiving is not just one day a year. Thanksgiving is a way of life that should be celebrated every day. Find reasons to dance despite any challenges you might be facing right now. Know that you are loved beyond measure. Thanksgiving is contagious. With this attitude of gratitude, go infect others. Go share your light and go make the world a better, thankful place.

With much love,

Marisa
