Hello lovelies!

I know at this point in the year, it’s an uphill battle to stay motivated and organized.  Back to school time is upon us, and winter breaks are almost all completely over. But guess what that means? It’s almost summer! And it’s time to get ourselves put back together.

I’m a junior in college, and my college is set in trimesters instead of semesters. So I’m currently mid-winter trimester, but the tips I’m about to give will work for any highschool or college get smart girl!

Here’s a little peak of what I carry inside my school bag on a daily basis:Blog

The bag I carry is a Longchamp Le Pliage Large tote in black – it has no large dividing pockets, so it allows for my folders and books to fit comfortably inside.

My agenda is my life saver, and an absolute school necessity in my eyes. Because it is cute, and bright, I am constantly reminded when I look in my bag that I need to write things down, and check it when I get back to my room from class to see what work needs to be done, and when. I purchased it online from Lilly Pulitzer, but you can buy them anywhere!

Next, just a few obvious items : pencils, flash drive, index cards for studying, pens, and an actual calculator…yes..they still exist. To keep these all organized, I put them in a small pencil bag that I purchased on Etsy. Super cute, super cheap, and it helps to keep your bag from getting cluttered.

I am currently only taking two classes that require note taking and not computerized lectures, so I only keep one, college ruled notebook. I have it divided into two sections, one for it each class, and I do the same with my folder. Half is for one class, half for the other. Simple, easy, and everything is kept together!

Finally, my id holder. I don’t know about you girls, but my school requires constant scanning of our ID cards for access to everything and anything, including the library, printers, my dorm, ect. I keep it on a lanyard in a single flap ID holder, with my mailbox and room key attached, this way, I know where it is at all times.

And that’s pretty much it! I honestly believe that an organized book bag is the key to being successful in school. I found that I am much more focused and can get tasks and assignments completed on time when everything is neat in front of me.

How do you keep yourselves organized throughout the school year?

Let us know!

Until next time lovelies, stay beautiful!

-K.
