Change is always happening. Seasons change, friends change, and feelings change. Sadly, there is nothing a woman can do to stop change. Change can be a very good thing. It can lead to new discoveries and allows you to grow into an improved woman.

College can be very frightening at first. The thought of moving away, on your own, can cause anyone to be hesitant! Having this feeling is completely natural. This is the time to explore your interests and go after your dreams! Every girl should enjoy college and have the chance to try new things. There is something for everyone to participate in at college. So many opportunities will be presented to you, just remember to stay true to your beliefs! Do not do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Being pressured to do something is not fun, and can cause unwanted conflicts.

Many people are usually excited to party in college and have that “you only live once experience.” Not everyone feels that way. If your friends from high school are going to a party and invite you and you are not a “party girl”, go find another group of girls! Not everyone parties. Everyone is in the same situation. Everyone is going to be welcoming to meeting new people because they are just as nervous.

Have fun but most importantly be you! Just remember this change is good, changing and moving on from high school is going to benefit you! There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that you are proud and confident with yourself. Take this time to find yourself!!
