Hello lovelies!
As a teen, and even now in my 20’s, one of my biggest insecurities has always been my skin. I don’t think there’s a girl out there who doesn’t love having clear, clean skin.

The thing is, there are a lot of products out there come with a hefty price tag, yet aren’t worth the hype! Drug store products work JUST as well, if not better, then some of the gimmicky high end skin products. Just so you all know, my skin type is combination-oily, so the products I use work best with my skin, but are basic enough to work on most skin types.

In the last year, I discovered my perfect skin care routine. It’s not too time consuming, and my skin has never looked better. Now I’m not saying that I don’t get the occasional blemish around that lovely time of the month, but for the most part, my skin has stayed clear!

In no particular order, my top 5 favorite products include:

Boots Expert Sensitive Gentle Refreshing Toner (Under $5 at Target).
This product leaves my skin feeling clean, and oil free before bed. I use a little of this on my T-zone to get rid of any excess makeup that may have snuck past the shower.
I think it has really helped fade any really dark areas on my face!
** It is also hypoallergenic, and is fragrance free!

Up & Up Facial Scrub for Blemishes and Blackheads ( Less than $3 at Target!)
This scrub is actually a generic brand from target. It’s basically a knock off of the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I prefer this product to the St. Ives though, not only because of the price difference, but I think it has a more abrasive texture that helps to deeply exfoliate my skin.

Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser ( Less than $6 at Ulta)
I could never find a good cleanser. Every time I tried a new product, it left a residue on my skin, and I was constantly unhappy. I love using cleanser in the morning to wake me up and wipe the “sleepy face” away. This cleanser is perfect. It’s not too heavy, and leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean, and smelling delicious!

Freeman Anti Stress Dead Sea Mineral Facial Mask ( Under $5 at Ulta, Walmart)
We all need to feel pampered once in a while, right? Light a few candles, lay in the bath, and apply this mask. Soak, let the mask unclog your pores, and release a little stress! This cleared my skin after I had a bit of trouble after finals. LIFE SAVER!

Exfoliating Cotton Rounds ( Under $3)
I know, you’re probably thinking I’m a nut. Cotton rounds? Really. YES. Don’t underestimate the power of these babies. Use the toner, cleanser, or makeup remover on a round, and they wipe away dirt and oil from the entire day. I swear these work miracles, and you can buy them literally anywhere!

In my own opinion, regardless of skin type, color, or age, the best way to make your skin glow through-out the year is to feel confident! When you’re confident in your own skin, it definitely shows.
You are beautiful!
