As some of you may know my mother, Dina Manzo, started her own non-profit foundation in 2007, Project Ladybug, to help children suffering with cancer. It’s a foundation very dear to my heart and I am extremely passionate about raising as much money as possible for these children. Through my volunteering with Project Ladybug I have had the opportunity and utmost pleasure to meet so many amazing kids who are suffering. Effortlessly these children lift the spirits of those around them despite their illness. I believe it is our duty to repay each and every children by donating our money and time to help provide the things they need/want but can’t have.
On November 11th 2013 Project Ladybug will be hosting a very special event, Goddess Night Out, at the Venetian in Garfield, New Jersey from 7pm-11pm. To support you can purchase tickets, donate baskets/money, advertise a business, and/or become a vendor! The night is going to be super fun and packed with several awesome celebs and spiritual women who are going to make the night unforgettable. The profits will go to the Project Ladybug funds at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ and Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York. There will be a full dinner, dancing, raffles, a great swag bag, but most of all a room full of women coming together with open hearts!
There are many mom’s of children with cancer who hope and pray they will get to watch their children grow up and be happy. Treasure your Mom and consider coming for a mom/daughter night out to our Project Ladybug event. For information on tickets and more click here.
Help us ease the struggles of children with cancer while enjoying a wonderful ladies night out! Hope to see you there getting your goddess on ;). xoxo

My daughter is name Angel Isabel Douget she is 7 years old and was diagnosed with non-hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer this past March. She is doing chemo only and her cancer is cure able, she will have to do her chemo for two in a half years straight and she’ll get done by July 2015,she’s a fighter and almost everyday we drive from Beaumont, Texas to Houston to the Texas Childern’s Hospital Cancer clinic. We have a lot of support from our family and friends, And she is on almost everyone’s prayer list. We have a positive out look on life. And as for right now she’s doing homebound schooling and will be able to go back to school in January, God bless you for being such a supportive….positive…..and loving sweet young lady.
Hi Maria thank you so much for your comment. Stories like yours are what motivates me everyday to keep raising awareness and funds. Your daughter will be in my prayers and I am inspired by her courage to keep fighting. Tell her that I say hi and I wish you both the best. xx
